Christopher Larkin has composed the soundtracks for 3 different movies, none of them too wildly popular, but what really drives him on this list for me would be his beautiful music in Hollow Knight.
Hollow Knight was a game that was orignally composed by a team of 4, Team Cherry, and Christopher Larkin with the music. When Hollow Knight finnaly came out, the response was very clear, it was a great game that could possibly revive the dying metroidvania genere. The beautiful and unique art style of Hollow Knight really set it apart, it also helps that unlike most games with paid DLC, this game has three free DLC!
Hollow Knight has a distinct art style, being hand drawn and only having three main programmers workin on it, but nonetheless art is beautiful, the gameplay is amazing, and the music is great! Christopher larkin provides amazing music, whether it be some simple background music like The City of Tears or the fast-paced tune fit for the battle against the Mantis Lords
Lastly, in addition to the free 3 DLC that Hollow Knight had gotten, the 4th free DLC actually turned into a game! After the announcement of Hollow Knight's Sequel, Silksong, and a trailer showing the gameplay and art, recently two music tracks from the game were released, Lace and Bonebottom. As expected, once again Christopher Larkin is the one who is directing the music behind these games, this time with an actual orchestra to help him out.
